So… for the past 2 months I’ve pretty much been living out of a suitcase. Now as fantastically fun as it sounds to be a “homeless artist”, I was shocked to find the reality is actually quite stressful. Anyways! After helping hands in the form of other artists I’m happy to say I have a lovely new flat in Edinburgh to look forwards to in a couple of weeks! A quick thank you to the following lovely people:

Kasia Matyjaszek Artist In Residence ECA http://www.kasiamatyjaszek.com/

William Goldsmith Graphic Novelist Extraordinaire http://www.williamgoldsmith.co.uk/

Alex Horner Future King of Webcomics http://www.aghorner.co.uk/

Laura Davis Queen of Illustrated Oddities http://signedblott.blogspot.co.uk/

And now that that’s done, I can tell people to please go check out this exhibition that I actually set up about a month ago and have promptly forgotten to tell anyone about (I blame the moving thing)! So about 2 months ago I decided to give exhibiting a shot because apparently things look good on walls as well as books. After making this decision I have managed to line up 4 different exhibitions which will be taking place over the next 2 months. I’ll be (remembering) to give each one a shout out on my blog! The first of these, which resides in the lovely Chocolate Tree in Edinburgh, is a selection of my black & white original ink drawings which are 3D illustrations in box frames. They are for sale, and will be up until the 15th September! (email me for details cat@catoneil.com)
